Chinese Names provides an AI-powered Chinese name generation tool and a Chinese surname reference directory. Name suggestions are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.

Disclaimer: AI-generated names and cultural information may contain errors or inaccuracies. Our service is not a substitute for professional naming advice, cultural consultation, or legal counsel. We are an independent service and are not affiliated with any Chinese government body, cultural institution, or naming authority.

3. Account Registration

  • You must sign in with a valid Google account to use the name generation feature.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • One account per person. We reserve the right to terminate duplicate or abusive accounts.

4. Credits and Usage

  • New accounts receive a one-time 3 free credits upon sign-in.
  • One credit equals one generation request, which returns up to 5 candidate names.
  • Credits from credit packs are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
  • Monthly subscription credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over.
  • Failed generation requests are automatically refunded and do not consume credits.
  • We reserve the right to modify credit pricing with 30 days notice.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

5.1 Payment Methods

All payments are processed through PayPal. By making a purchase, you agree to PayPal's terms of service. We do not store your payment credentials.

5.2 Pro Monthly Subscription

  • Pro Monthly is a recurring subscription billed at $7.99 per month.
  • Your subscription automatically renews each month until cancelled.
  • You may cancel at any time through your PayPal account or by contacting us.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • No partial refunds for unused portions of a billing period.

5.3 Credit Packs

  • Credit packs are one-time purchases ($4.99 for 50 credits).
  • Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable once used.
  • Unused credits expire 12 months after purchase.

7. Intellectual Property

  • The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Chinese Names.
  • Chinese surname data and cultural information are compiled from publicly available sources.
  • AI-generated names are provided as suggestions. You may use generated names freely.
  • You retain ownership of any input data you provide to the Service.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract our AI models or data
  • Automate or bulk-scrape the Service without written permission
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation

9. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.
